I ordered my Absolut and cranberry and waited with my back turned to the bar. He walked in and didn’t notice me. His jacket came off first. Then scarf and hat. As he handed these warm items off, he noticed me. He was running his fingers through his hair to remove the worn look as he gave me his satisfied, crooked smile that warms me.

big moon shine
